Each local radio station in the UK must comply with the requirements set out in its licence – and this includes maintaining the ‘Key Commitment’ obligations set out in an annex to the licence.
Each Station is also required to maintain a ‘Public File’ of core information relating to the radio station and its output.
The information set out below relates to the service provided by High Peak 1.

High Peak 1 broadcasts on DAB across The High Peak (Glossop and Buxton Multiplex – High Peak One Digital https://highpeakonedigital.uk), Online, High Peak 1 App (IOS & Android Devices), Alexa Enabled Devices, TuneIn.
We broadcast from our studios in the High Peak area. Our Strapline is: Hit Music for The High Peak.

Programming
High Peak 1 broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We broadcast 4 Hours of Live Radio weekdays and Saturdays. Our Station uses Computer Playout technology to broadcast on air content. When we are not live, our programms may be pre-recorded or Recorded As-Live.

High Peak 1 plays Hit Music for The High Peak which covers music from the 90s to Todays Music.
News Output
Unlike other DAB Radio Stations, We dont broadcast the news, Just Music and Chat. We may mention some local stories throughout the week.
During our Breakfast Show and Drive Time show, we report on the Local Traffic covering the High Peak area.
Complaints
High Peak 1 will always look to resolve any complaint about its programme output, news, advertising or online content in an informal manner.
