Reuben’s Retreat Hosts Bank Holiday Celebration

Glossop, Derbyshire – Reuben’s Retreat is inviting the local community to come together this Bank Holiday weekend for a special celebration in Norfolk Square, Glossop, as part of its ongoing mission to “Build Together to Complete the Retreat.”

The Celebration Day will take place on Saturday 23 August, with festivities running from 12pm to 3pm. Families can enjoy an afternoon of live music, stalls, and a tombola, with free admission for all.

The event also marks the end of a momentous cycling journey by athlete and broadcaster Stacey Copeland, who has been raising awareness and support for the charity’s mission.

Reuben’s Retreat, a Glossop-based charity, is dedicated to supporting families of complexly poorly children and families who have lost a child. The “Complete the Retreat” campaign is focused on finishing its retreat facilities, a safe and supportive space for families at their most difficult times.

Organisers are encouraging residents to come along, enjoy the festivities, and show their support.
