Glossop Market Hall is about to be transformed — and the first details of its eagerly awaited reopening have been revealed. Set to open this November, following a major renovation led and funded by High Peak Borough Council, the historic venue is unveiling its first three traders, each bringing something truly special to the town.

Households across the High Peak will soon receive letters from the Council detailing upcoming changes to waste and recycling collections. From Monday 20 October, all households in the Borough will be affected as Alliance Environmental Services – the Council’s waste collection partner – introduces revised collection rounds to improve efficiency. This may mean a change
